Not only follow heart when leading others but I believe in always following gut 'inner' feeling. This helped me accelerate my career to achieve positions at young age, sometimes the approach is high risk but it fully justifies return.
As long as it is not nonsense and delivers targets, it won't fail and your peers will slowly start following you for advise.
