Trying to find San Diego based or online training related to accounting and management reporting in a FDA regulated environment. This started with trying to understand proper accounting for "pre-approval" inventory and how that should flow through R&D or be capitalized in inventory. Also should any write-down be charged to R&D or COGs. If you get approval and it becomes sellable inventory should you reclass the debit to R&D to COGs? I have received numerous answers but many conflict.
Looking to find how your auditors address this.
Also looking to find educational courses in San Diego or on-line related to the FDA environment from a finance/management perspective.
