As you know, the CMA program is growing around the world. But this takes more than smart strategies and smart people. It takes lots of "face time" and building relationships with key partners around the globe.
You will be hearing more about two very recent significant global visits. Just last month, Chairman John Macaulay completed a whirlwind visit to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Damman, Riyadh, Kuwait and Jeddah. His visits included visits with staff, members, chapters, course providers, universities, corporate prospects and the media. Just yesterday, I returned home from a trip to China where Dennis Whitney (SVP, ICMA) launched the new Chinese-language 2-part exam in 10 cities. Additionally, we held CMA 40th anniversary celebrations in Shanghai and Beijing, and extended our relationships with key governmental training partners.
It's all about the relationship and building community. Thank you for being part of the relevant, vibrant and growing IMA global community.
