Our "official" program on Wednesday August 16 will be presented by Joan Sherman, an accomplished Job-Search and Networking Coach. Joan has a broad perspective on "The World of Work," knowledge of the business community and understands the importance of establishing a strong network of trusting personal/professional relationships to achieve success. Joan’s presentation will focus on the job-search process starting with assessing appropriate career options and the applicant resume to branding one’s self, interviewing skills and job offer negotiations. The emphasis of her work is grounded is networking strategies.

Joan M. Sherman, Job-Search & Networking Coach Joan Sherman is a job-search and career coach in Washington, DC. Her career spans 30+ years in the private business sector then, consulting to several Federal government agencies. She has held a variety of professional roles in sales, leadership and management as well as corporate training and organizational development consulting. In 2011 Joan founded netWORKshops LLC. Joan’s communication goal is to impart her knowledge, experience and "job-search process" to help others develop the necessary skills and tools to “sell themselves” to find fulfilling careers.
