Speaker's Bio:
Education: Bachelors of Arts Degree, cum laude, College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, MO.
Certifications: CPA, 1992, currently licensed in the State of Texas.
Experience: Linda L. Mercer joined Tyler Technologies in 2003 as an Implementation Specialist for INCODE Core Financial applications suite. Linda currently holds the position of Principal Implementation Consultant. Job tasks include conversions and initial implementation for both Invision and Tyler VX Core Financial applications suite as well as the GASB 34 Report Writer. Since 2010, Invision to Tyler VX migrations has become part of Linda’s responsibilities. Linda travels nationwide having assisted in excess of 230 clients in the last thirteen years. 2005 through 2015 Linda prepared documentation and a presented at the annual Connect conference. Applications presented include, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources, Time Entry, ESS, Purchasing, Capital Assets, Inventory, Work Orders, Cashiering, and GASB 34. Various regional trainings have been presented varying from three days to a week in duration. Prior to her Tyler career, Linda served nearly 11 years as Director of Finance, Administration, and Grants for the City of Gonzales, TX, which became an INCODE client in 1994. Thus Linda has been involved with a Tyler product for the last 20 years.
Role in Provision of CPE: Linda L. Mercer has be involved in preparing course materials and leading instructional classes at Tyler Connect, Regional Trainings, and Consultant Summit.
