    Hello friends,
    This is Manoj Lal. I am from India and Staying in Atlanta GA and completed my MBA finance from herzing university. Now im planing to do CMA and i have few questions
    1. Does residency Matters? I mean should be a citizen or GC holder?
    2. I have 3Years of experience in India is that valid for CMA?

    No residency status at usa is required for CMA. Your Indian experience will be considered.

    Hi Manojlal,

    You can pursue CMA from any part of the world, provided you have graduated from any recognised Universities. After clearing the CMA exam, one should have minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts & Finance realted work domains to get the CMA certificate. I think your experience will sufficient for the  CMA membership,once you have cleared both parts of exam.
