The Dallas Fort Worth IMA chapter will hold its 2017 community service project at Bonton Farms on Saturday, October 14th from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Bonton Farms is an urban farm located in the neighborhood of Bonton in South Dallas. The Bonton neighborhood is located in a “food desert” (i.e., an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality fresh food).
Join other chapter members and learn where food happens (and it’s not Tom Thumb) by collecting eggs, feeding livestock, weeding, harvesting vegetables and whatever else needs to be done.
